Very Good Quality 1930s Armchair We have 2
Lovely quality and weight on these 1930s English armchairs. The lines are pleasing on these and we’re enjoying the curved fan shaped backs. We have had a cuppa in them and they are comfortable and neat. You could, of course use as is, the russet shaded woven chenille fabric is very good with no holes having been fully reupholstered in the not too distant past, not new fabric placed on top.
As mentioned the chairs sit fine – we have a decent firmly sprung seat which is good, re-tied when last upholstered, your bum certainly does not hit the floor! The frames are weighty with no movement. Our upholsterer has quoted £445 for each chair plus around 4/5 meters of fabric per chair. Reupholstery via us is undertaken by a professional upholsterer who is experienced in both traditional and modern techniques. We are happy to assist and advise in the choosing of fabric. The chair or sofa is checked over for any faults which are remedied before upholstery, springs are aligned if required and webbing replaced before a full reupholstery is completed and again checked for quality etc.
Price is for one chair delivered, not both.

Our base is a 3,000sq foot space on a wonderful country estate in Staffordshire which you are more than welcome to visit, please let us know in advance so no wasted trips are made. When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.
Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
