A lovely carved light oak desk. We date this desk to the 1920s.
The desk is supplied in one very large section, please check measurements for delivery through doors and around corners etc.
The pedestals sit on carved bun feet.
The desk pedestals each have three drawers, the top left hand pedestal drawer is fitted with dividers. The main top section has two outer drawers flanking a larger central drawer over the kneehole area. The drawers in the top section are all fitted with dividers. The pedestals have rounded corners with reeded carvings.
There is a large pull out slide at both ends of the desk, these are fitted with small brass handles.
The drawer handles have lovely carvings. The central drawer is fitted with a lock (key is supplied).
The desk has a height of 31" (78cm), a width of 61" (155cm) and a depth of 33.5" (85cm).
The kneehole height is 23.5” (59cm) and the width at base is 21” (53cm).
This lovely desk remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks to the table top, front edge and to the base of the desk.
