An exceptionally pretty Edwardian 9 carat gold star brooch set with 12 sapphires interspersed with seed pearls and a larger central pearl.

Designed as a 6-point star, 6 sapphires surround the central pearl. Between each of the star points are 6 small stylised flowers (tulips?) each set with a sapphire. Locking clasp pin to rear.

In superb condition for age. Marked as 9ct gold on body and clasp.
