Very Rare Heals Antique Oak Four Poster Bed.
This is a great antique oak bed, superb quality which you would expect as it made by Heals of London around 1900.
The oak timber chosen to make this bed has beautiful figuring and the bed still has the original finish which is lightly weathered. This type of finish was used by Heals on select antique furniture around 1900.
This antique oak bed by Heals is not a typical four poster, it is a very uncommon design but an absolutely timeless one.
A really well designed bedroom piece, now at Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire. DimensionsHeight 140cm (55.12") Width 138cm (54.33") Depth 212cm (83.46") Additional Information The headboard is 140cm high and the footboard is 104cm high. Inside length is 198cm.
