A fascinating 19th.Century carved oak and deep buttoned leather arm chair, possibly a hall porters, concierge or hall chair The curved and shaped back having wonderful carved detail of fruit, flowers, acanthus and harebells, with carved eagle heads to front. The seat upholstered in old leather with brass studded detail. The front supported on carved horse heads with scrolling detail, the back having a carved cherub's head, fruit, foliage and scrolls leading to a triform platform base. Condition - very good with old serviceable leather upholstery. Dimensions:- Height…34’’/ 86.5cm. Width…28.25’’/ 71.5cm. Depth…19.5’’/ 49.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
