This is a stunning Victorian drop pendant with an applied wirework and bead bail connecting to an applied wirework and bead top plate with a plain oval frame decorated with spaced graduated beads to the sides and a graduated articulated tassel to the bottom edge. In the raised centre sits a cabochon cut garnet which is riveted with a gold setting which holds four half pearls. The pendant acid tests as 18ct. gold.
Total length of the pendant is 3¼ inches – 85mm.
The pendant is fitted to a Victorian Belcher link chain with internal retaining links with a barrel snap fastener. The chain acid tests as 9ct. gold.
The chain is 17½ inches long.
