Victorian 19C mahogany twin pedestal writing desk
Antique Victorian 19C (possibly Edwardian) mahogany twin pedestal writing desk.
The desk is heavy, solid, has no loose joints and splits into 3 parts for transport.
All of the mahogany lined drawers slide freely.
Finished back, so that the desk could stand in the centre of a room.
We have a key that fits all of the locks, although a couple are a little stiff.
Lovely patinated leather top (some wear and marks as is generaly desirable).
A very attractive style and design.

Overall maximum dimensions 123cmW x 65cmD x 74cmH (58cmH x 53cmW knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are some veneer imperfections and cracking, but these are all stable and well glued, adding to the general age and charm. Later handles and castors. There is some staining to the insides of drawers as is usual and to be expected.
