Antique large Victorian 19C oak wind out dining table which is approximately 8 feet long with the two extension leaves installed.
A lovely table dating from 1890-1900.
This is a quality table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive...respected 'Selbat' makers label.
Magnificent turned legs, terminating in period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
The table is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
Winding mechanism works as it should and there is a period handle.
No significant woodworm.
Lovely patina, figuring and colour, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 122cmW x 241.5cmL (including 2 x 48.5cm leaves) x 74cmH (59cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
