Victorian 19C walnut chiffonier glazed bookcase
Antique Victorian 19C walnut glazed bookcase on cupboard.
This is a lovely piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Mainly veneer on softwood construction, with a beautiful patina and mellow walnut colour.
There is a key to fit the glazed doors only.....the cupboard lock looks as though it needs attention if it is to work.
No significant woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Note that this item splits into two parts for transport.
Overall maximum dimensions 106cmW x 39.5cmD x 202cmH (84cm base + 118cm top).
Glazed section ....... bottom plus 3 adjustable shelves 88.5cmW x 20cmD.
Cupboard section....bottom plus 1 fixed shelf 97.5cmW x 26cmD.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Later plywood drawer bottom and back to top section.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
