Antique 19th Century Victorian (possibly early 20C Edwardian) adjustable piano stool.

We are unsure whether the stool is made of walnut, mahogany, beach or indeed a mixture of hardwoods. This is one of those times when it is very difficult to tell. In colour the stool is akin to warm mahogany or dark European walnut.

This is a rare and unusual style of piano stool, with a ratchet style adjustment mechanism.

Lovely proportions and styling.

Solid, with no loose joints.

620mmW x 350mmD x 610mmH.

Seat height adjustable from 420mm to 580mm.

Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique stools. Note that the upholstery is not new, having some wear and marks. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the fabric.
