Antique quality Victorian Aesthetic pitch pine wardrobe or linen press.
This is a quality piece dating from around 1880-1890 and made by Goode, Gainsford and Co. London.
This is a lovely period wardrobe, that is full of age and character, with great aesthetic styling.
The drawers and doors open and close freely.
The mirror is in good condition with only very light oxidation.
Splits into three pieces for transport.
No significant woodworm.
The catches on the doors no longer work, however we have keys that work the door locks, which will keep them shut. We have no keys for the drawers.
Lovely patina and would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 128cmW x 56cmD x 198cmH (37cmH base, 150cmH mid section and 11cmH cornice).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
