Antique Victorian / Edwardian mahogany Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau overmantle wall mirror.

A very charming and unusual mirror, with lovely proportions and styling.

We have whited out the bevel edge mirrored glass in some of the pictures to avoid confusing reflections of yours truely and piles of antique furniture.

Overall maximum dimensions

Frame 1240mmW x 720mmH x 160mmD.

Mirror surface 880mmW x 490mmH.

The frame has some historic knocks and marks. The mirrored glass has some light scratches, foxing and oxidation as one would expect. Seems to have been hung upside down in the past (based on the position of the mounts) as a mirror with a shelf beneath. There is no evidence (that we could spot) that this was ever part of a larger piece of antique furniture, but this is always a possibility with this type of mirror.
