Victorian Arts Crafts Gothic Carved Oak Wall Bell
An unusual Victorian Carved Oak Wall Bell, with Gothic style "Roof" to the bell housing, profusely carved with foliate motifs. It could happily be housed in a covered porch or is ideal in a Hall to announce Dinner!
The bell has a lovely tone. PriceSOLD DimensionsHeight 103cm (40 1/2"), Width 42cm (16 1/2"), Depth 13.5cm (5 1/2"). Category Antique Furniture Period Victorian Antiques Material Oak Origin English Condition Good. The bell has a lovely tone, the carving is crisp and it is a good colour. There are two small holes to the carved wood but they appear to be original. Possibly it was made of considerably older timbers. Item code as289a055 / 14040 Status Sold
