An elegant and unusual late 19th century Hat and Coat Stand. The quadruped base of an arched design is beautifully executed with a natural wood finish. Rising from it is a gilded fluted pole, finished at the top with a bold shaped finial. The gilded brass
hooks may have been moved or replaced there are slight indications, but nothing that takes away from this coat stand being a most desirable object for the home.
