A superb mid-Victorian period burr walnut centre table of the highest quality. Of fine construction in solid walnut with stunning burr walnut veneers. The shaped top surrounded by thumb-nail moldings and a crisply carved gadrooned border. The top is supported by one of the finest bases we have ever seen. Of splendid "basket base" form, in solid walnut with crisply carved detailing. All standing on arched legs which terminate in their original solid brass castors. This lovely table would sit well within a number of different room scenarios within the modern home. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a wonderful colour and patina , ready to go straight into the home.
