A lovely chess top table from the Victorian period. Of good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top is inset with a chess board and the edge decorated with a crisply carved border. The turned column terminates in a tri-form base with carved detailing to the knees. This desirable and practical table is offered for sale in excellent condition, is sturdy and has a great colour and patina.
