Antique Victorian quality burr walnut inlaid freestanding davenport having the original brass gallery over lift up lid opening to reveal a storage compartment, sloped writing surface with a leather inset crossbanded in burr walnut, four working drawers and four dummy drawers with original turned walnut knobs, freestanding polished back, inlaid burr walnut front supported by quality carved walnut shaped scroll supports standing on a plinth base with turned bun feet.
