An impressive Victorian period library , or stretcher, table. Of good construction in solid walnut, with attractive burr walnut veneers onto an oak carcas. The lobed rectangular top is in stunning burr walnut and is framed with thumb nail mouldings. The table base is in oak and solid walnut with wonderful carved decoration and crisp twin barley twist stretchers and uprights (in solid walnut). This imposing table would serve well in many rooms of the modern home. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home. A really stylish item of Victoriana.
