Victorian Burr Walnut Secrétaire Wellington Chest
A superb Victorian burr walnut secrétaire wellington chest. This is great example with great use of burr veneers. It has five graduating drawers with a secretaire drawer to the third and fourth drawer.
There are two drawers with pigeon holes above to the secretaire. It has two carved corbels to the top of the uprights. The right hand upright is the single locking and houses the working lock with key. All the drawers have nice turned wooden knobs, dovetails and mahogany linings.
The top and sides have figured walnut veneer and it sits on a plinth base.
