Antique quality Victorian burr walnut twin pedestal desk or writing table C1880.
This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints... a very rare find. The top is in good order having recently been refinished.
The mahogany lined drawers slide freely.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 138cmW x 54cmD x 82cmH (62cmH x 51cmW knee hole).
Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear and imperfections, as is to be expected with antique furniture. No keys and the locks are consequently untested. Some minor veneer losses. Just a few historic, extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure. There may have been some kind of up-stand on the top originally.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
