Victorian Button Back Armchair, c.1900
This is an antique, Victorian button back armchair dating to c.1900.
Traditionally stuffed and well sprung, this low slung chair offers a deep and comfortable seat with long armrests and a heavily padded, button back rear panel, all finished in deep green velour.
The dark, walnut frame contrasts beautifully with turned front legs and shaped rear riding upon ceramic castors in brass mounts. Above the front legs, brass studs decorate the corners.
The long, three buttoned arms are supported on tapering, turned columns rising from square section mounts.
Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
