Antique quality large Victorian 19C Heal and Son satin birch chest of drawers.

This is a quality piece of antique furniture with beautifully crafted mahogany lined drawers.

VR crown markings to locks, which are a good sign of quality.

An unusual item with really distinctive simple styling and large proportions.

The chest of drawers is solid with no loose joints and the drawers all slide freely.

Overall dimensions

1225mmW x 530mmD x 1190mmH.

Historic knocks, marks, wear, scratches, cracks, chips, repairs and alterations. There is no key and the locks are untested. There is historic wear and repairs to the drawer runners, the bottom right hand drawer has a replacement arm on its handle and one drawer bottom has been replaced with plywood. This chest is made from both solid hardwood and veneered softwood as is usual.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person to assist our driver carrying the chest.
