Victorian Cold Painted Metal Thimble Holder in the form of a bird on a tree branch above the well.
The holder is lined with blue silk to imitate water in the well.
Comes with a continental silver thimble(possibly Hanau, Germany).
Approx. 7cm tall, the thimble holder 3cm in diameter.
Vet good condition - no damage. Listed items are usually available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
