An unusual and rare English Victorian comedic transfer printed pottery jug with a picture of 2 farmers arguing over the ownership of a cow whilst a lawyer sits and milks the cow between them, titled 'The Lawsuit'. This is the first time we have come across this particular jug. Circa 1880.

In good condition - please note there is slight wear to the glaze around the pouring lip but no chips or cracks.
