We have the pleasure of being able to offer this lovely tactile Doulton Burslem earthenware jug.

The jug has an ovoid body, with a cobalt-blue collar patterned in gilt with a floral design. The body of the biscuit jug has a textured cream background decorated with gilt and a floral design in navy blue. The body of the jug extends to a lovely angular handle decorated in cobalt blue and gilt. The base of the jug carries the Doulton Burslem marks for 1886-1891 along with the US Patent No 31L.002 and the additional mark B476.

This lovely earthenware jug is 5 & 1/2 inches high (14cm) and is in a very good to excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs and only a very small stain just under the cobalt blue collar and this is shown in picture 5.
