Quality, attractive and well made armchair, with no loose joints or wobbles.
A heavy, solid and strong chair.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery, but the seat is quite soft and comfortable without the typical lumps and bumps of an antique chair. No visible woodworm. Period castors (dissimilar with some wear as you might expect).
