Victorian Glazed Bookcase Cabinet, c.1900


This is an antique, Victorian, glazed bookcase dating to c.1900.
This modest bookcase is well made and features twin glazed doors, closing with a semi-circular dust strip, with brass slide bolts and a turned brass handle that operates a twist catch.
Raised on a shaped plinth base the colour and finish of the attractive light mahogany is in good order. The top is chamfered at the edge whilst the back is panelled.
Opening the doors reveals the three adjustable shelves that are easily positioned and ideal for books or display.
