This is a superb, Victorian piece in what I believe to be its original box - very nice, the brooch measures just over 1.5" inch long - It depicts a long whip which is intertwined along towards the handle - it is made of a yellow metal (possibly heavily gold plated) but has no hallmarks so I will sell as "yellow metal" - with a good weight it is appealing, the box is in excellent order, marked "Jewellers to His Grace the Duke of Norfolk" HL Brown & Son Regent St. London. A genuine vintage piece in the best of order this will not disappoint!.
