This fine example of a Victorian dinner gong is decorated in a rich Gothic manner,
The gong has a carved oak frame with prince of Wales feathers and scroll surmount to the top, flanked with a carved reeded pineapple shaped finial above further scroll carvings, above a large hammered bronze gong suspended on string, with further scroll carvings below.
Raised on turned columns and terminating on quatrefoil stretchers.
The striker has a plain stem and turned handle. Free delivery within 50 miles.
