A lovely bow front chest. We date this chest to the late 19th century.

The chest sits on four splayed feet.

The main chest consists of four graduated drawers and a brushing slide at the top. The drawers are fitted with drop handles mounted on oval backplates and are fitted with locks (no key is supplied, one should be obtainable if required). The pull out slide is fitted with small button handles.

The chest has a height of 35" (89cm), a width of 40" (102cm) and a depth at deepest of 23" (59cm) at deepest.

This lovely bow front chest remains in very good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some wear, marks and indentation lines primarily to the top surface. There is some wear to some edges and the feet. There are a couple of old repairs including a veneer repair to the rear left hand top corner and the front left hand leg has also been repaired at some time in the past.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
