Victorian leather writing/stationery box in a lovely, embossed leather and original leather interior. The box has an interesting bi-fold mechanism which opens to firstly display 2 aide memoire and further opens to reveal additional storage and dedicated compartment for pens and stationery.

The lid is gilded with the initials C.P. and a date 1876

The interior shows the original retailer of the box as E.F. Collings, Bath

Unfortunately, there is no key
