Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Wardrobe

This is a beautiful Victorian mahogany breakfront wardrobe with a great grain & colour, a full length mirror and attractive decorative corbals. It is in very good condition, of a nice size and dates to circa 1880.
The angular moulded projecting cornice sits above a central door with an arched mirror and flanked by two arched fielded panel doors. There are two scrolling carved decorative corbals to the top of the centre door and the doors are fitted with locks, brass escutcheons and 'Horne's Patent' hinges. The mirror is in good condition with a few spots to the middle and has developed a nice antique 'sparkle',
The centre door opens to reveal the original four sliding tray shelves and three further graduated drawers below. The side sections each have a brass hanging rail which is mounted in a mahogany frame so it can pull-out if desired and which also has original wooden hooks. The left side also has a useful drawer to the base. We think the drawers are lined in ash wood which has a naturally pleasant smell.
For ease of transporting and moving this separates into five sections.
CONDITION
This is in very good condition, the lock has been removed from the left door and the key only works the centre door. On the right side there is a chip out the bottom near the front edge as well as veneer nibbles to the edge and on the left side there is veneer loss from the back plinth and a chip out the base as well as veneer nibbles.
