Victorian Mahogany Cabriole Chaise Longue (c.1860)
This is a superb quality antique English Victorian upholstered mahogany cabriole leg chaise longue, circa 1860.

This is a superb quality antique English Victorian upholstered mahogany cabriole leg chaise longue, circa 1860. The chaise boasts (when facing) a carved left hand arm, a raised sweeping back with carved cartouches to the frame. The back frame sweeps down finishing in a carved frame. The front of the chaise features a straight rail and the end of the chaise has a bow end. The chaise is upholstered with a rich orange and gold brocade material. The chaise features the original cabriole legs to the back and front. The frame and legs are constructed of solid mahogany. The chaise can seat up to 3 persons.

In excellent condition - the arms and back of the couch are firm. The upholstery and braiding is very clean and shows no signs of wear or damage. The springs in the seat are firm and in good condition. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. If you decide to return the item at the point of delivery, you will only pay for the delivery cost. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
