Victorian Mahogany Cylinder Bedside Cabinet
This attractive antique bedside cabinet / small wash-stand dates from c.1860. It is constructed from mahogany and has a nice cylindrical shape and a framed marble top. The single door retains its original turned wooden handle and has a single fixed wooden shelf inside. The cabinet is supported on flat round base.
Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. The marble top is badly stained to one side. The internal shelf is a little warped, and the door does not quite sit flush.
