Victorian Mahogany Document Chest. Filing Cabinet.
This is a beautifully made high quality Victorian mahogany pedestal chest, probably built for a gentleman's study or library.
It is a slim full height pedestal, and features 2 graduated drawers over a dummy fronted double depth drawer for documents. Dates to about 1870.
Craftsman built to the highest of standards, it features carefully rounded edges to the top, sides and plinth.
Original throughout, in excellent condition
Height: 89 Centimetres Width: 44 Centimetres Depth: 53 Centimetres
The inside measurement of the document drawer is: Height 37 cm, Width 26 cm, Length 41 cm. This is large enough to take a modern suspended filing system lengthwise. A rod kit would need to be fitted, which can be easily done. ALL OF OUR PRICES INCLUDE FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
