Victorian mahogany Lady's writing desk

This is such an elegant period small writing table, desk. It is a wonderful petite size and won't over power your space. It is made in mahogany and and is Victorian, dating to around 1880. The desk has two pedestals with graduated drawers. The drawers are made, as you would expect with fine dovetails. The drawers have their original decorative brass handles. The pedestals stand on plinth bases. The top has a tooled leather skiver. This is in excellent condition.
The desk is small and elegant and will look good in a principal room furnished in antiques. It could be used for a computer or laptop but also it would look nice accessorised with a lamp on top to show off the polished mahogany and leather. A good thing.
The desk splits for moving.
The desk is 41 inches wide and 28 inches high and 22 inches deep and the well is 22.5 inches high
