Fine quality antique Victorian mahogany writing table in excellent original condition. Dating to around the 1860’s period, it has a polished back, so can be free standing. It has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface, two drawers, with turned mahogany handles & fine dovetails. The turned legs are fluted & have brass cupped casters. This desk is one of the nicer examples of this kind of thing & the mahogany has a rich colour.
