A handsome antique early Victorian mahogany open armchair or desk chair. The oblong top-rail and shaped crossbar above a drop seat on turned legs. It has generously scrolled arm rests with turned supports. Beautiful warm colour and figuring to the mahogany with a comfortable drop-in seat which has been recently reupholstered in a faded green velvet.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Recently reupholstered. Quite a few old worm holes to the seat rail – these have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
