A handsome antique early Victorian mahogany open armchair or desk chair. The oblong top-rail and shaped crossbar above a drop seat on turned legs. It has generously scrolled arm rests with turned supports. The drop-in seat has been newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is quite firm.

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing very firm upholstery.
