This is an attractive Victorian Scotch chest from around 1880 in nice clean condition and with a lovely golden colour. The chest has a great storage capacity and is a very practical size, measuring 49" high, 42" wide and 22" deep. The top has a cushion or secret drawer with four more beneath this, the bottom drawer being deceptively deep as it has a dummy frieze and goes all the way to the bottom of the cabinet. The chest is attractively raised on turned solid mahogany bun feet.
