Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers c1880
Antique Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a rounded edge to the top above a serpentine shaped frieze drawer and with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original turned knob handles with mother of pearl inserts. To each side there is an architectural turned column and it stands on a deep plinth base on original tall turned feet.
Measures 53" high x 22" deep x 48" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
