This is a good quality Victorian three door mahogany wardrobe featuring a moulded cornice above three rounded panelled doors. The central mirror door opens to reveal two short above two long graduated drawers with brass handles and dovetail joins. The shelves that were originally above have been removed to provide extra hanging space but the supports have been left to allow the option of adding shelves back in. The side sections have a full length 42cm deep hanging section and a drawer to the base on one side and a shoe/hat box on the other. Unfortunately, we do not have any keys for this item, but the doors are fitted with locks and the original turned handles.

This Victorian wardrobe is in nice condition for its age and has a lovely mellow colour & patina. It does show some wear and tear, the mirror has foxing up the right side and to the left side of the arch. There are some dents and there is missing veneer to the back of the plinth, in addition some of the polish on the right door has gone dead. It is still a perfectly useable and attractive item.

For transportation and moving this wardrobe splits into five sections and is easy to reassemble.

To split into the five sections the cornice and plinth come away leaving the three tall vertical sections.

Cornice 196cm w x 67cm d x 17cm h
Plinth slightly smaller than the cornice and 11cm high.
