A superb quality Victorian mahogany pedestal writing desk. The moulded edge top holds a recently replacement red antiqued leather writing surface decorated with gilt and blind tooling. The desk has an arrangement of nine graduated drawers with the original turned wooden bun handles, supported on a plinth base with hidden castors for ease of movement. This is a fantastic piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
