A fabulous English Victorian silver plated novelty ink stand, semi-circular in shape with embossed cockerel standing over bucket which is the glass ink well. Has engraved wheat sheath decoration to base and pen tray to front. Circa 1880.

In good condition - any dark areas are shadows from the photography, there is no damage to the silver plate and no chips or cracks to the glass ink pot.
