Victorian Oak Gothic Revival Chair
A very decorative antique Victorian Gothic Revival chair in solid oak with new upholstery dating from circa 1890. With elaborately carved back and lion carved top rail. The side supports are barley twist and topped with finials. The back legs are also barley twist and the stretchers and front legs. Solid and sturdy it has been recently professionally reupholstered in a striped fabric.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy it has been fairly recently reupholstered in a striped fabric. Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames. An old solid mend to the top rail (it has split and been glued at some point).
