Victorian Oak Writing Table, c.1870

This is an antique, Victorian writing table dating to c.1870.
Raised on ring turned legs terminating in naive ball and claw feet, this table works well as a desk featuring a three-quarter, turned stretcher for strength and stability, whilst open at the front perfect to accommodate a chair.
A pair of oak lined, frieze drawers offer useful storage and are dressed with brass ring pulls on pressed plates featuring classical urn motif.
The top is in good condition with moulded edge detail and the piece as a whole offers good colour and patina with a waxed finish.
Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
Dimensions:
Max Width: 106cm (41.75'')
Max Depth: 56cm (22'')
Max Height: 76cm (30'')
