Victorian Pearl Flower Brooch 15Ct Gold

A beautiful antique Victorian lily of the valley pearl brooch made in 15 carat gold.
The brooch pin is exquisite with rich creamy coloured graduated cultured pearls set into the 15ct gold flowers and leaves. The brooch is nicely crafted and displays much realism with arched stems and dynamic leaves. The bottom of the brooch has a pearl set in twists of gold depicting a ribbon which adds further quality and charm. The brooch is complete with safety chain and ready to pin onto your jacket lapel.
The condition of the piece is very good indeed. The pearls are nice in quality and the gold undamaged. The pin slots neatly into a C type clasp and the item is stamped 15ct.
Lilies of the valley appear in several Christian Bible stories. It is said that lilies of the valley grew from the spot where Mary's tears hit the ground at the foot of the cross.
