Victorian Pierced Brass Easel Mirror with Cherub


This is a beautifully made Victorian circular pierced Brass Easel Mirror with a winged cherub surmount. The cherub has a laurel wreath in each hand. The pierced frame features a foliate and ribbon pattern and the original mirror plate has a very deep bevel. The double pronged brass easel back also features a brass hanging ring, so the mirror can be hung, and the back is easily removable by undoing the brass screws, for mirror replacement should it be necessary in the future.

Width: 9 5/8" - 24.45cm
Diameter of mirror plate: 8 3/4" - 17.15cm
Depth of base 7 5/8" - 19.35cm
Condition: Excellent. The original glass is also in excellent condition, with no loss of silvering.
