This is a beautiful narrow, tall, cabinet on base. It is late Victorian, dating to around 1890 and is made in pine and is very much in the Gothic Reform / Arts and Crafts style of the day. The cabinet on base has a shaped cornice above two glazed doors. The cabinet has adjustable shelves inside. Decorative pierced pitch pine corbels in the Arts and crafts style join the cornice to the cabinet. The edges of the cabinet and window frames are chamfered. The cupboard beneath has recessed panelled doors and it sits on a plinth base. The base has a large shelved cupboard.

This is a beautiful piece of period antique furniture. It is tall and narrow so won't overpower your space. It would look equally good in a kitchen for use as a house keepers cupboard with the cabinet filled with plates and kitchenalia, or as a library bookcase in a principal room.

The cabinet is in good condition. Minor marks from usage as you would expect. No key to cupboard below but the glazed cabinet retains lock and key. The cabinet splits for moving.

The cupboard base is 30 inches high and 31 inches wide 21 inches deep and 49 inches wide. The top is 49 inches high (Total height of piece is 79 inches high) and the top is 49 inches high and 31 inches wide.
