Mid Victorian pine sea chest, very robust, made from 7/8" (21mm) solid pine with large hand cut dovetailed joints. Original hinges and lock (dated 1867) and very good quality leather and rope beckets which are both in excellent condition. A number of small marks under the finish (see pictures) commensurate with its age and having been moved frequently, no worm or damage other than some saw marks on one inside corner (please see photographs)
